This suberb book is edited by Maryland Wilson, President of the Australian Wildlife Protection Council, and Dr David Croft. Launched at Parliament House Sydney October 10th 2005, hosted by Lynda Stoner and Tony Bonner. Then on March 8th 2006 in Melbourne, with Professor Peter Singer PATRON AWPC at Melbourne University, Launch and book signing. The book contains 34 chapters written by kangaroo experts. Every argument that has ever been made to support the commercial kangaroo kill is refuted for once and all in this excellent book. The book is also a funraiser for AWPC. You can vist their website here! **************************************************************** The other is a fantastic little field book by Lee Curtis called the Green Guide to Kangaroos and Wallabies of Australia The ISBN number is 1 74110 203 0, published by New Holland Publishers, and should be available in good bookshops.

In most Outback areas the large kangaroos have been shot out. Mitsuaki's previous book of African wildlife on the Serengeti Plains was widely acclaimed. His kangaroo photos are even better!
